Messages Regarding Schwab & TD Ameritrade Statements
You may lose your paperless statement delivery at Schwab!
When Schwab and TD Ameritrade merged in September 2023, Schwab honored paperless statement delivery (e-delivery) for clients without creating their online Schwab Alliance credentials.
Stay paperless! To keep your paperless preferences at Schwab you must create your Schwab Alliance credentials before March 27, 2024.
Recently Schwab sent emails to all clients who selected paperless delivery but have not yet created a login on Schwab Alliance. Please follow Schwab’s easy and secure instructions to establish your credentials and retain your paperless delivery options prior to March 27.

TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab Tax Documents
It’s Tax Season! Right now you’re probably starting to look for your tax documents as they arrive throughout the winter and early spring. If you had an account/s at TD Ameritrade (now Charles Schwab) please take special note!
If you had activity in your accounts at both TD Ameritrade and Schwab, you will receive two sets of tax documents for year 2023, one set from TD Ameritrade and one set from Schwab.
If you have a retirement account, you will receive a 1099R for distributions from both custodians (if applicable).
TD Ameritrade and Schwab tax documents will arrive on different schedules and should not be expected to arrive together.
You can access past TD Ameritrade tax documents through your online access on Schwab Alliance. Schwab will have 7 years of tax documents available to view on Schwab Alliance using your Schwab credentials.
